Deborah Mack

After 40 years, I am now a retired educator. My journey continues as I merged my love for the arts with academics, finding fulfillment in projects like Creating Original Opera, which allowed students of all abilities to thrive. Opportunities to lead and serve in various educational roles—committee member, instructional support specialist, and more—equipped me with tools in problem-solving, patience, and leadership, culminating in what I call “Awakening 202” and “303.” From the streets of Toledo to the classrooms of North Atlanta, I’ve witnessed a universal truth: all families want their children to succeed. Now retired, I remain passionate about guiding and empowering others, believing wholeheartedly that by raising expectations and nurturing potential, we can continue to awaken greatness in the next generation of artists and entrepreneurs.
